Before we build your custom website, we will have a design meeting to learn about your brand, audience, and goals. We will also take this time to discover your design aesthetic.
From there, our experienced designers will begin creating your website. We will present the first proof, and then fine-tune the design based on your feedback. Once it has your approval, our expert developers will build a functional staging site.
Our next step is to create and finalize the website’s text and images with our content team. After you approve the content, we will launch your website so you can share your one-of-a-kind design with the world!
Can I have my custom website’s files?
If you create a custom website with our studio, we can usually provide you with design files and front-end website code upon request.
Can we make a template website?
Our studio can create a template website for your business or company. These websites are built with premade designs. While we can change the colours, photos, and text to fit your branding, some elements will need to stay the same.
Please note that if you choose a template website, we will not provide the website’s files.
Do I need to provide written content and images?
Our website proposals include our copywriting services, so our writing team can write professional content that is tailored to your brand’s voice and target audience. If you prefer to write your own content, we are happy to add it to your website! If you already have a website, we can also move that content onto your new design.
We can use images that you provide; however, their usability may be limited depending on the photo quality.
What is a domain? Do I need one?
You can think of your domain as your website’s name and address. It is the URL that people use to find and visit your website. As such, it is necessary to have a domain.
Your website’s domain must be registered with a domain registrar. Make sure to choose a reputable registrar, and keep track of when your domain needs to be renewed so you don’t lose access to the name.
As our client, you have the option for our team to manage your domain.
What is hosting? Do I need it?
To keep your website live on the Internet, you need to rent or buy space on a server to store its data and files; this is called “hosting.” Without a host, your website can not exist online – making hosting very important.

What is a content management system?
A content management system (or “CMS”) is the system or online software used to edit your website’s text, images, and other content.
Our designers and developers use WordPress CMS. This reliable system is secure, user-friendly, and very versatile.
